This Master Ensuite is relatively small compared to contemporary standards. The room could not be enlarged. Our design maximizes the function and with the high level of attention to detail, it becomes a room that works well and looks great.
The flush shower was placed at the far end of the room. It is very generous in size and features multiple shower systems. The controls are conveniently located near the door, not under the shower. A full height niche for soap/shampoo is a stunning design feature for the shower room but it is subtle. The same micro mosaic wall tiles also surround the classic white/black marble floor tiles.
At the other end of the room under a new window is the soaking tub. There is a feature of mosaic tile repeating the shower design. The window is a combination of frosted glass for privacy and an awning window for ventilation.
Between the 2 ends is a generous vanity for 2. It is designed as a freestanding furniture element with unique marble side panels. These panels have a classic shape at the top and have a double ogee edge. The cabinet style framed mirror appears to float and has accent lights below. The tissue dispenser was set into the cabinet so as not to compromise the space for the toilet. A generous toiletry cabinet was set into the wall between the bathroom and bedroom.
White cabinets and white marble are used throughout for a ‘truly traditional style’.
