This bathroom was a former bedroom with an incredible view of the river. However, because the room had such a strong architectural feature (curved wall with windows), that feature was enhanced by adding a domed ceiling and circular tile partitions in the floor and shower tile. A completely symmetrical design was configured for the room on the centreline of the window. Matching vanities, toilet room and storage closet along with matching shower seats follow this design.
Suspended cabinets in horizontal rift walnut are topped with luxurious granite that was also used as a backsplash and surround for the floating mirror. The neutral floor tile is set off with the circular pebble pattern which is repeated in the cabinet handles. In the shower, the pebble patterned floor is contrasted with iridescent wall tiles in a bold harlequin pattern.
Design forethought and attention to detail are evidenced by the completely concealed track for the shower glass, and by the drywall walls flush with the granite backsplashes.
