This small bathroom was an awkward space until the adjacent room and hallway were reconfigured to optimise the design possibilities.
The claw foot tub, a client favourite, was refinished and fit with a new faucet. All of the rest of the fixtures were selected to complement this character.
Existing windows were re-glazed with glass blocks for privacy, and awning windows above for ventilation.
The bow fronted sink cabinet has shallow base units on either side of it; this allowed for a much larger shower door. The generous use of the same traditional limestone for the floor and walls keeps the room simple yet elegant in its traditional theme.
