Nature is always the most elegant and simple luxury. This master bath has a commanding view of the park and a canal waterway. All of the elements for this room were chosen for luxury enjoyment in a minimalist way.
The grand window to the park with drapes that open as in a stage gave the ideal location for a large freestanding tub with an elegant floor mounted faucet.
Minimalist design prevailed for the vanity with its horizontal grained oak and the handle free suspended design. The vanity was constrained on one side by the window, but that constraint also set up the symmetrical shelving design at each end of the tub and the centreline of the shower stall. The scale of the vanity competes well with the grand window due to the full width “floating” mirror.
The generous shower stall was definitely built for two and the meticulous attention to detail is evidenced by the exacting tile layout and the glass channel mounted flush to the tile drywall.
The lighting fixtures selected are handmade and are complemented by well placed recessed shelving lights.
The toilet room is tucked conveniently out of the way and is also minimalist but features its own flush installed cabinet for toilet room essentials.
